Yes, this is my first boat with a sink I have used, but I don't think I am expecting too much. The one main sink could be full of water, yet it only trickles out of the side of the boat. I'm not expecting it to shoot out with a bunch of pressure, but it kind of just runs down the side of the...
All of the sinks on my 260 Sundancer drain slowly. Anyone know if the Drano foaming stuff I have used in my house will damage the boat? I figured I would check just in case.
I picked up a 2nd CO detector last night because of this thread. $50 for a battery powered portable unit w/digital read out from Home Depot. The internal battery is supposed to last 10 years.
This is the carpet after the bed liner spray. It looks 10 times better, but as I said earlier, it needed more work.
You can see the fibers are still loose. Looks grey in pic, but more black like first pic in person.
I picked up four cans of PlastiDip at Home Depot on the way home...
Try writing a comprehensive list of criteria before looking at boats. Must haves, really wants, and would be nice. Take your time considering each item and which group it belongs under. Then reference it while looking at boats. This will help you remember what was most important to you...
I went ahead and sprayed my carpet backs with the bed liner. It took two cans for one medium coat. They look ten times better, but I am not convinced I am done.
First off, I did not realize how bad the carpets had gotten. I bought this boat in July of last year, and only had them off once...
Has anyone actually done this? I've searched through here and found tons of people saying they used PlastiDip and Durabak, but cannot find much on people using bed liner spray.
Home Depot sells Rustoleum Truck Bed Coating Spray for about $8/can. I was worried about the flexibility, so I test...
The curtain material just looks like a 2" strip of plastic. Wires run into the bimini pole, then I just have loose wire plugging into the cig lighter. Not the most clean, but reversible, which was my goal. I'll take some pics in the light when I can.
The two little floor lights on my 2000 260 did not light up my cabin nearly enough, so I came up with a plan.
I bought some 12v cool white LED rope lights from Sailor Sams (two 4' long lengths), along with all the wire connections needed (about $80). Then I picked up a thick clear shower...
Does anyone recognize these underwater lights? They appear to have been installed by a previous owner. They throw a decent amount of light so I like them, but wondered if I could buy color filters. I've looked all over, but only seem to find new LED lights.
I am new here and looking to buy a used sundancer in the 25'-27' range. I currently have a 230 overnighter that I love, but want to upgrade. I've been hunting for a couple weeks and have gotten some great leads, but nothing has panned out yet. I have patience though.
So I came across a 2000...
