I have a different problem but I think it might be related to vacuum pressure too high. I rebuilt the the ball and replaced it and seals with all new parts because it was not holding pressure. The old ball was delaminating so clearly the issue. After a few flushes the lever and ball would not...
Thanks for this link. Be great if the vendor had a picture of the actual cover. What material grade did you purchase and are you happy with it? The top grade seems a little too high for me.
I bought my cover from Boat Covers Direct and was never happy with it. It just never fit right and needed several straps to simply stay in place. The one Blueone posted above looks better that what I received. Dock line rubbed a hole in it during a storm so need to get a new one.
Question is...
I was contemplating adding a hose connection when I came upon this thread and it sounded easier to pump in reverse. Not sure where/how to get a hose connection for my strainer. Picture attached....
Good thought. I'm equally curious how I will be sure AF get to both ACs as there is only one outlet for them. The forward unit has its own. Have always done this from the strainer end and not had issues but that technique has been a royal pain.
I have a 380 Aft Cabin with three AC units but water only flows out through 2 output fittings. I believe the salon and aft AC units flow out the same port side fitting. How can we be sure A/F is flowing backwards through both AC units as it may just take the shortest route.
I have 3 AC units but cooling water only flows out through 2 through hulls. It runs out of both no matter what unit I am running. I think the aft and salon units flow out the port side. Forward unit out the starboard bow side. Have always filled A/F through the strainer but its a pain as the...
Great thread. Thanks everyone.
I used an air compressor this year for the first time to blow out the fresh water lines. Was feeling really good until I read here about still bypassing the HW tank which I did not do. Will this be a problem?
I drained the tank and not worried about a little...
Thanks for your reply but I'm looking for replacement light fixtures. The originals are all corroded and looking to refresh them with new LED fixtures.
Did that. Found lots of sites that I never heard of and all say weeks to months for delivery.
Does anyone have a suggestion for another option to replace these downlights?
Does anyone know where I can buy these? Amazon says not available. Trying to find a good replacement for the down light fixtures on the ceiling of the aft deck. External application.
The large hatch in the salon? I just remove the smaller one to reduce weight. Then stand to port beam of the hatch and pull it up. Could take a little effort if not opened in a while. I recentlu had top end work done on my starboard engine and that gave them all the room they needed.
Thanks Blueone. I went with this one....

So what I'm learning is there are several antennas that will work. What is impossible to find is a simple converter to attache the digital antenna to the old analog TV so neatly installed on my old boat. Sheeeesh
