Those 6.2's are crammed into a pretty tight space and I would imagine accessing some of the pumps and transducers would be very difficult.
$3K for everything described seems very reasonable to me.
Well, join the club. When we got our place in SWFL we dragged a 24' Four Winns IO down there. Didn't take long to learn it wasn't the right boat for the area. Dragged it back to Texas and sold it locally through craigslist/FB/boattrader.
There are lot a ways to vet scammers. I'm happy to share...
So far I haven't heard anything bad about the 2-speed transmission, dual prop and only lower-unit steering on those things. If the technology turns out to be reliable then I hope to see it move down into small displacement motors as well. Especially the 2-speed transmission. That could really...
Yeah, I think I'll do Fort Lauderdale at least once. But those kind of crowds aren't attractive to me.
You'll love Tampa/St. Pete and their boat show. No mega-yachts but several 60'+ footers and longer. Would be a great long-weekend. Tons to do.
I cringed when I saw those young kids in that little boat. I can't even imagine how shaken and pissed off I'd have been had it been my family. To @Stee6043 point, I think 'idiot' is the operative word. You could see he was very startled when he saw what was happening.
These videographers and...
.....in fact, fell in love with a 2017 Tiara C44 coupe. Even my wife was getting pretty pumped about it. It's what Sea Ray should still be building.
But in the end, the cost to keep it in shape in the water in SWFL when we'd only use it 6 times a year just doesn't make sense. Maybe when I...
Back in the day Dallas had a great inland boat show. 26-50' cruisers, etc. Sea Ray was still making boats I wanted. And now it's a wakeboard, bass boat, tin can boat show. Even the vendor booths, which were my favorite, have gone to nothing and most unrelated to boating.
Friday before last we...
You'll have it down in no time. I backed my single engine 250 into a slip on my own all the time. Became second nature. I currently frequently launch, haul, and park my 25' without even thinking about it.
I wouldn't stress about it. If you like the boat and it's sound, go for it.
