Been enjoying the SRV 207 for the past few summers since I did the makeover on her. Taught both my girls to waterski behind her, and we have had some great family fun on her. The only complaint I have is that the distributor gets wet and then it she's hard to start, so this year it's time for...
Thx all! Pulled her to the local guy here in the city who loves old boats. He's going to repair the skeg, and a couple other things before he winterizes and shrink wraps it. I was going to do the winterization myself but the weather turned on us quick and she doesn't fit in my garage.

Snowed here the other day, so the boat went in to get winterized and shrink wrapped. Managed to get one last ride with the family on the Red River here in Winnipeg.

The manifolds are going to get plenty warm, but your heat gauge is what will tell you if you are too warm. If it is in the red, you have an issue. Probably the impeller pump in the lower unit.

Did you ever get your boat running right? I am having an issue where it idles fine but you put it in gear and get on the throttle, it dies. I'm thinking fuel pump? Anyone else?

Put on a new prop this past week. So my setup is 228 Merc with 18 P 4 blade stainless. I went 43 mph on GPS at 4000 rpm. Seems like my revs are a little low. Too much prop? It plains super quick and sounds great.

Yep. I ordered the decals for it and I need to get the paint. Some sanding required, and then I'll shoot it with the Case orange, which should match my the stripes on the Sea Ray pretty well!

Not sure if there is a thread for "Tow Vehicles for Classics" here or not. I searched but couldn't find one. Guess this could be it and I could start.
Our cottage is on a lake that has a sand bottom and has a very shallow and gradual place for launching. It's almost impossible to do with a...
Thanks for all the great comments everyone! The plan is to mostly just enjoy her this summer. Just a couple little things left. I would like to paint the outdrive and put on a different prop, as well as refinish the trailer, but while the weather is nice and the schedule allows, I want to be...
Here she is, in all her glory!!
The happy captain!
My youngest "Luce" caught the first fish! A Goldeye!
My oldest caught a baby Walleye!

Thanks! I'll post some more pictures of the maiden voyage of "Liv 'n' Luce", as soon as I can. A couple minor hiccups, including a dead battery, but it didn't take long and we were out enjoying ourselves on the water. Four adults and 3 kids. My two daughters caught a fish each within an hour...
