Just to update to original post. I forgot. Had the cone clutch and gear assembly replaced. About $1700 in parts and $390 labor. Been a 100 hours now and all is good. Zero delay in shift engaging. Makes docking a whole lot less stressful!

Most definitely you need to move the boat forward. There should be no boat overhang past the main support bunks.

Not sure of your model.... but my '07 240 Sundeck has a molded hockey size disc moounted to the under side of the cover. Then the magnetic ball mount is screwed to it.

My wife and I had the same issue with our 2007 240SunDeck. Very difficult to reach the single grab/tow bar especially in deep water, say above waist high. I installed a 12" grab bar just forward of the ladder hatch. Solved all problems. I attached two pix if they made it.

Not really. Many companies need to stop all activity of material movement to count things. Not saying it is the best business decision.

Sounds like the same problem my 2007 240 SunDeck had. The steering wheel would actually wobble around a bit. The center nut was checked and tight. The Tilt mechanism between the the wheel and the rack had to be replaced. Now tight as when I first bought her!
