I am getting ready to move a 600DA north for a guy and the radar pedestal is shot. Does anyone have an E52069E Raymarine pedestal that they want to get rid of in the next day or so?
Coming off the success of the annual Atlantic City rendezvous, there has been some talk about maybe having a rendezvous on the Chesapeake Bay so that some upper, mid and lower Chesapeake Bay folks do not have to travel as far as Atlantic City to get to know/see/visit with one another.

We all know someone that we can use as an example of what no to do when boating. Since we do not want to name names or point fingers at anyone specifically, we'll just refer to this mystery man/woman as Boater X. If have any stories of dumb things that you or your friends have done when boating...
FWIW
While looking for replacement plugs I came across this AC Delco rebate through the end of the year:

Has anyone seen Captain Rusty Higgins lately?
He has been pretty quiet. Maybe he has a new lady friend keeping him busy...or maybe he is just out delivering boats.
Where are you Cap?
I saw something in another post about red cockpit lights for nighttime operation. I went looking around and came across these lights:
red, white, and blue in same fixture
uses EXISTING wiring
dimming feature
So, if I read their literature correctly, I can install these lights, change them...

I am evaluating the type, style, thickness and number of sheets of toilet paper we are using, along with each brands ability to make it through the duck bills and into the holding tank. I further want to evaluate the softness of each brand and thickness on one's private parts.

I happened to be staying at the same marina as Mr. Four Suns this past weekend and had occasion to observe some of the repairs to his vessel. Now, I always thought the guy did a bang up job on his repairs, but, I saw him out in the rain with a roll of rescue tape.
You decide:
Mercruiser has just released a multi-engine gateway (part number 8M0065208) that allows Smartcraft enabled engines to talk to NMEA instruments. We are installing one in the next couple of days. If it works as they say, I will be able to get all that cool Smartcraft data on my Raymarine e127...
In response to a suggestion by a fellow 410DA owner from up in the North who said we need our own thread, I am starting THE OFFICIAL 410DA thread. This is it. Post your comments, questions and BS here when talking about our boats.
I was organizing some photos and came across these photos of two 480's drag racing up the Delaware Bay. I am trying to remember who the drivers were.
Any ideas?
Looky who just sent me a PM. You think he wants to be friends or you think he is just looking for someone other than Frank W to take out his frustrations on?
When I crank the AC in the forward cabin down really low, after a while I get a High Pressure shutdown on the unit. (Unit is new last year, so I doubt that it is refrigerant)
Strainer is clean, water flow appears normal from both overflows, filter is clean, unit runs normally unless you take...
We invited a bunch of different folks on the boat over the weekend with a departure time scheduled for noon.
Noon came and one of the invitees was not at the dock after having been warned earlier in the week and earlier in the day that the boat would be leaving the dock at noon.
The boat...
We took a ride up the James River from Virginia Beach yesterday and the closer we got to Williamsburg, the browner the water got.
Since I have never been this far up the James River, is this normal or just the result of the rain we have had lately?
