I did install new IAC mufflers last year as well, and test ran both engines in all types of scenarios with no change in the whining sound. The sound coming from the IAC mufflers (a sucking air flow sound) is not the same as the sound I'm experiencing.

That is something I'll bring up with my mechanic, although we went out for a bay test with his laptop scanner hooked up and water flow did not show up as a problem. I am not sure the bad water flow would stall the engine either. Thanks for the reply.
