How much water in bilge do you get?

i have a 2011 185 sport and the bilge barely gets wet, even after a full day of in and out of the boat. my bilge pump has never had to pump out any water. i would keep an eye on it and see if you can tell where the water is coming from.

    Oil Pressure Gauge Issue

I've noticed an issue with the oil pressure gauge the last 2 times I've had the boat out. It appears to work fine, but everyone once in a while the gauge will stop working, as in drop to zero, then bounce back to working fine a few minutes later. It works fine about 90% of the time. I'm...

Raising drive unit in Sea Ray Sport 185

I think he meant that it was higher when he first brought it home, now it's not as high after first use. I have a 2011 185 Alpha 1 with a single switch, it has 2 positions, you just have to push harder on the up button and it will raise it all the way up, and i'm pretty sure it has to be in...

    185 Radio

Thanks for the reply's, turning the key to the left did allow me to turn the radio on. I think it was more of a matter of having to hold the power button the the radio for a few seconds to get the radio to turn on the first time I had turned the key to the left. Thanks again!

    185 Radio

Ok, this maybe a really stupid question, but how do you listen to the radio with the boat engine not running? When I turn the key "on" I can turn the radio on but it also triggers the warning beep which as far as I can tell just keeps going till the boat is started or you turn the key back off...

    Bilge Plug

Thanks for all of the reply's everyone, I can already see what a help this forum is going to be. The boat will be in the garage when not in use with the engine hatch open to help dry out any water, so I think I will just leave it plugged unless I need to remove it. Thanks!

    Bilge Plug

Hey everyone, I'm new to boating and we just bought a brand new 185 Sport last week and I have a question. Should I take the bilge plug out after use even if the bilge is free of any water? Is it ok to leave it in if there is no water to drain? Thanks!
