Had this alarm 3 years ago - Idled fine - give it power overspeed alarm - When it was all said and done the intake under my boat had become clogged with sea weed - not enough water was getting to the pump. Check your impellers look at your strainers is there debris in them?

Is the 350 mag engine enough power for the new sundancer 280

Don't know the weight or beam on the 280-or how you boat - On my 290 Amberjack with a 10'6" beam - 350 mags with v-drives, not the fasted boat - but they work very well for how we boat. Plane at 3300 rpm, best cruise at 3700/3800 rpm 24/25 mph .9 gallons hr. At 4200 Rpm running at 28 mph - wot...

Mark, Give them your Hull# they will let you know if they made the original or have the pattern. I replaced all my isenglas last year through them - you just have to put the snaps on yourself.

Planning trip to Detroit/Lake St Clair

Z- Did this trip 2 years ago - Mac Ray was really nice - It took us about 5 hours to get there although the Lake was 3-5 footers across to the Detroit river. Mac Ray was very clean - nice pool and restaurant.

    Rotary Buffer

Makita all the way. I store my boat indoors and this storage business also has a thriving boat and auto detail business. The only buffer they use is a Makita. I have had mine for 6 years and knock on wood, it has worked flawlessly. Was just up to the boat yesterday to start the process...

Seeking advice: Looking at an Amberjack 290

290 AJ is a great boat - As Skolbe said the hard top is aftermarket - I also believe that the Bow and Stern Thrusters would be aftermarket, I could be wrong, - I certainly believe that a survey would a wise idea... Any specific questions regarding the 290 AJ send me a PM - Good Luck

Official 330/350 (2008 and newer) Thread

Can anyone help me here - Went to the SR website could not find the info I was looking for. What year did the 330 DA get introduced? Is the 330 DA a replacement of the earlier 320 model? Trying to compare a 2008 330DA with an 05-07 340 DA. Thoughts?

I am back - well sort of!

My 05 290 AJ with V drives has been a great boat. My boat loves to cruise at 3800 RPM right at 24 knts, burning 25 gallons/hr. Top end 5000 RPM 29 knts burning a lot. My dock mate has an 02 290 AJ with IO's - A little faster 34 knts at top - a little more efficent at cruise,
