Quick change of topic, has anyone changed their cockpit sink in the 95-97 range 370's? If so, do you remember size and where you got it from?
Thanks in advance, Bryan
I replaced an old Northstar 951 with a Simrad system, 12" NSS in the same spot you are thinking and added 3G radar, best investment i have made so far.
Quick question - I did a quick search on the thread and also on the 370sundancers.com website, anyone remove, repair and replace the port side companion helm seat? The backrest seems to have been cracked/broken on the seat and looking for some ideas on how best to not make a complete mess...
I received them yesterday, they look to be exactly what is on the boat but won't be able to check for sure until the weekend. The website is www.imtra.com and the part number is spa-10505W - $19 each. Will report back once on the boat.
I just ordered a set from Imtra online, will let you know if they are the right size. $19 each...
I did a search here on the forum (maybe the maintenance section) and saw that someone else had gotten them and it was right.
Quick question - has anyone had to replace the foot switch (specifically the plastic covers) for the windlass mounted on deck? I have a Lewmar Concept 1 and contacted Lewmar, they don't make those same covers/switches any more. Anyone have suggestions or a part number of something that would...
I did indeed mean our "year range" and agree with what everyone is saying, people in our marina can't believe it is a 1996 model.
Sorry to get everyone stirred up!
Anyone have some photos of dinghy davits or dinghy/motor storage options? I have a 9' inflatable dink with a 5 hp Nissan 4 stroke outboard. Been tying the dinghy on the swim platform while underway, but haven't found a good solution for stowing the motor.
Everyone tells me Weaver snap davits...
Are they still running the deal with 1/3 of your slip fee back in rewards? Last year they were advertising that you would get that back split 3 ways between fuel, food and ship store.
Phil,
We just finished an extended cruise on the Chesapeake - one whole week 4 different ports. Overall I would say I am running at least 1knot faster at the same cruise rpm (3400) - doing about 18 knots average. Before I was happy with 16.5. Very happy with the results, but not sure if it is...
Phil,
Actually we wound up going with 3 blade Michigan DJX 18 x 21, primarily due to availability of 4 blade props and my upcoming boat/vacation. Interestingly enough, with the new 3 blades I saw an average of 1-1.5 knot increase in speed at cruise, and while I don't have fuel flow meters, I...
Gene and Phil,
Thank you both. Gene, what pitch are you running on the 4 blades? I spoke with the rep from Michigan, he recommended going down to 18x20 vs the 18x21 3 blade on there now.
Phil, we narrowed my issue down to the starboard side, unfortunately the port side won't be needed.
I...
Anyone have a good source for new propellers? I am thinking about getting an extra set, maybe upgrading to a 4 blade and keeping the original 18x21 3 blades as back ups.
I tried to use the search function on this thread and couldnt find anything, please forgive me if this was already answered...
Does anyone know a good source for replacing the windsheild vent actuator? Mine seems to be giving up the ghost, it goes up fine, but needs some assistance closing...
Sorry for the delay in getting updates posted. I replaced the capacitors and diodes, but only have 75V showing on my panel down in the cabin. Spoke with a mechanic in my area who suggested we (he) check the RPM setting and voltage regulator. Diodes and capacitors tested OK, hope this doesn't...
Another update... Replaced the diodes and capacitors yesterday, started genset and am getting around 60-70 volts on my panel. I am pretty sure I connected the wrong leads on the capacitors. Trying to read the electrical diagrams now, wish
me luck.
