I have this on my new 320 and its great and I can run at speed with it attached! Should be as easy as going to a Sea Ray dealer and have them order the 2 bow pole receivers (shouldn't be hard to install with a little drilling), small generic hoops for hardtop, poles, and sunshade from the new...
Add a second smaller boat then make a decision after having both for some time....you might discover that you use the dancer even less or that a smaller boat just doesn't work for the conditions you need it for. You just cant replace the benefits of the dancer you mention without going up big...
Same problem on my 8.1l, My issue was clogged fuel injectors (fuel pressure tested good before we moved onto injectors) but here is another thread with same problem but different issue on a 7.4l.

To answer your earlier question it’s a Westerbeke and no problems so far it’s run perfect. I’ll post some photos of items I discussed as soon as I have some time to get out to boat.
We are loving the layout up top, electric sunshade out back is a game changer for us, bow area is well used by family, my boat has outboards so the bilge space is massive and easy to access almost all major items. The performance from triple 250s is much better than any previous cruiser I've...
You 2018-2021 320 DA guys keep in touch or start a main thread for this new gen if one hasn't been started already....took delivery of a 2020 320 DAO last month (Radar,12" S-rads and teak) and keep it on a dock in water now but will put it on lift after it's installed. We have stayed on it a...
No other than getting fuel pressure reading......in my case i checked all the plugs and compression first, then moved straight into fuel pressure, once i verified fuel pressure was good I realized that injectors had to be culprit. They had been on engines for quite some time so i figured they...
Anyone purchase or taken a lengthy ride on a new 320 DA w/outboards? Hard to find performance and test data with the triple 250s. Other than losing most the swim platform it seems like a winner for Bahama runs from Florida?
I've had both and they both have plusses and minuses......If I had to choose again I'd take the 340 w/8.1 and v-drives, great overall cruiser that you can add guests and it never feels too small. If Venture had another 50-100 per engine that would make it much harder decision
370 Venture...
I have a 2001 340 with 8.1s/v-drives, manifolds and risers were replaced just before I purchased the boat from previous owner for $4800 by dealer. I have no idea if that is a good price or not just reading the receipt. Hope that helps.
My guess....slave solenoid on port engine, very common on marine engines. I had exact same problem and it was slave solenoid in engine (8.1l). Part is only about $20. Do a search on this site, pretty straight forward to replace.
Generator battery is bad...replace it.
Capt G....I'm still trying to diagnose generator battery problem. Is that battery grounded to the generator somewhere? Maybe a bad ground discharging battery? And on your boat is generator battery tied together/paralleled into an engine battery?
Yes if you are referring to main panel breakers I have checked them, and I have checked the breakers and fuses on the generator. I'm not sure if there are breakers for the different circuits on the charger itself? I have not seen any switches or breakers on the charger, just the main panel...
