Hi all, something of any 290 AJ owners have switched to 4 blade props and if so what pitch and what was the performance impact. Switched to 4 blades this year and down nearly 600 rpm (hovering around 4500rpm). They said same 22 pitch should be fine, I thought down 1 though. Now they want to...

200 rpm per pitch. Having same issue now, installed 4 blades this year, lost around 400-600 rpm. Gonna go down 2 pitch and see what happens. Also, see if you can get a computer on it, maybe something else is putting the motors into limp mode. Probably not since it is both but you never know.

For those of you who have installed an in-hull transducer such as the P79, how difficult was it to get the wiring to the dash and how did you mount the fishfinder/gps? Seems there isn't really a good spot on the 99 Sundancer 270DASE... I too am looking to add a fishfinder/chartplotter to mine.

I am looking at three of these and I know two do not have windlass so I am wondering if they might be pre wired to make installation easy?
