Saturday was beautiful in OB. If it is blowing a little less than hurricane force I will be back again this coming Saturday and spend the night. Lunch at Sharky's was good as usual. The only issue at OB this time of year is choosing which slip to use.
If you look up the information for range and fuel capacity from the Cunard Line the QE2 moves between 40 and 50 feet on 1 gallon of fuel. This is an average. It might take a lot more fuel to move the first 6 inches from a dead stop I don't know.
The weather looks good enough for a launch to me. So far we are on schedule for Friday. The boat will be back from bottom painting today with pre sea trials on the way back. She will be placed on the new trailer this afternoon or tomorrow. Swim platform should installed tomorrow. Then it's time...
I was scheduled for April 6 launch but I just delayed it to April 13. Waiting on a platform from swim platforms and soda blasting. Now I am 3 weeks away but if this weather keeps up the wait will be easier.
The last boat was "Una Mas" which is "One More"as in One more boat. The new boat is "Dark Star" which is a Black Hole that will suck my wallet dry.
Hi,
I signed up for a 2000i on the other thread. I was hesitating because I don't know when you will decide wether there is enough interest. Maybe if you set an end date more will commit.
If it takes more than a few weeks more I will probably back out.
Thanks,
Greg
Hi,
Has anyone used the badelf gps with the "charts & tides" app?
I have been using charts & tides and it is great as is but if the GPS works with it the app would be perfect.
