I'm also "stuck" in analog, while craving the neat new electronic displays of engine data.
I've been considering this

but haven't spoken with anyone who has actually done it on their...
Anyone know of a very close dimensional replacement for the Ray210 VHF?
The mic cable is frayed at the connector, and it's time for a new one, and I'd like to not work around the larger hole.
Thank you,
Laurence
I really like that goal set!
Coming in, especially with new folks on the boat, I make sure to ask everyone to keeps hands and feet in the boat. I've seen folks on the swim pads backing in, and it makes me nervous.
I second the comment - very nice install on the dash. Unfortunately, I have the 540S, without touchscreen, and I can't imagine attempting to reach that far and navigate through the menus with the directional pad...
Sounds like a good reason to upgrade!

You're spot on for acceleration purpose; however, you can also use trim tabs to balance your boat while underway. My 290 seating (especially below) is biased to port, so when underway with a crowd I tend to use my port tab down (Stbd button) to maintain level and track.
Wow Gene! Sorry for the long delayed response. I had forgotten I posted this. I was looking at a 370 locally, and somewhere on google, found yours site.
Since then, I found the 370 thread here, and this post slipped my mind

I had a can boat on my stbrd, that kept veering into my path - conversation and kids around the helm prevented attention I guess.
After a few pointless horn blasts, I accelerated past and went down to a local dock restaurant. An hour later, and in a bit of a rush back, I met the same can boat...
We enjoy the evenings, but nothing to me is better than waking up and seeing the sunrise on an undisturbed lake.
But, I'm a morning person anyway, and ANY time on the water is better than not
Has anyone tried to replace/update their throttle shift controls with Alphas?
As look around the cockpit, it is one item that shows the most wear and, while I found new cover on Ebay for $50, I'd rather update the internals as well.
Anyone have pics of the waterlift vs log type mufflers?
As I look at listings, I want to rule out (or negotiate accordingly) any 370's that might still be out there unmodified?
I did try to read the whole thread, along with a search, and have learned a ton, even found the original service...
Stumbled across this site today.
The landing/home page is neat, and thought someone with a late 90's 370 would enjoy.

99% of the time, I'm a reader of posts - realizing (unfortunately) I have too little experience to constructively add here; however, as I was reading it dawned on me the number of sponsors on this site - people laying out cash in support of discussions, learning, and general boating BS with...
Really sounds like the Tennessee River Valley. I'm partial to the upper end of the valley, but almost any section would fit your requirements. Knoxville or Chattanooga are probably the best beta for your city requirements.
In the same basin, the Cumberland River has the same environment...
Spot on BBY - on NBC this morning, the dramatic "Did I hear you correctly, there were no working toilets!?" during phone interview with a passenger still on board this morning... As if this was some new scoop. The hyper-sensationalism turns my stomach
