I didn't but will try it.
To be honest the time it takes to reach its temp cut off I'd be supprised an extra pint would make that much differenc but I'll give it a go anyway, thanks Mike
Anyone one with any ideas????
I have the 5kva genny on board and it runs sweet as but for it cutting out (as it is supposed to) when the circulating water reaches too high a tempreture.
The genny is fully serviced it appears to have good water flow through the heat exchanger and the thrmostst...
Sat in little old New Zealand and wishing I could have been there.
If this takes off annually my wife and I will just have to coincide a holiday in the good old US of A with what is clearly an awesome event.
Well done Sea Ray for putting it on.
Thanks so much for this, you have a PM.
Put your thinking cap on for anything you guys would like from the 'land of the long white cloud' :)
Mike, The camaraderie of this forum has come to the fore again.
We've had the odd blow but the flag was attched pretty well and has sustained many a WOT...
Yep the difficult to get (in NZ) CSR flag has been nicked from the anchor light pole of the top of my boat :smt013
It took a lot of persuasion to get the supplier to stick it in an envelope and post it over last time, I'm gutted.
Can someone point me in the right direction to start the whole...
A stunning looking boat and a fantastic concept, would work really well for my family.
I'd include a genny, camper canvas, electric windless and privacy curtain for the master.
Cant wait to see it in the flesh, then for it not to suit the first owner then for it to be sold to me 30% cheaper than...
My move up will be to a 340 (one day). You get bigger volume, more weight but I wouldnt expect a smooth ride in the type of conditions you describe, granted the ride would be softer. Its not always the case that the bigger the boat the better it handles the conditions, its how the boat is...
For the lawn a 15 HP ride on = 40 mins
For the padocks 95 HP 4WD Massey Ferguson with a 6' mulcher 12 acres on and off depending on time of year and stock = a day
I'll be doing this mod to my boat in the spring, I'm after quicker out of the hole and reduced planing speed. Dont think I' ever get my money back on fuel saved I just think it will suit my 'boating style' better.
I have the genny in mine and stock props. I dont experience the cavitation mentioned in the true sense of the word but a little prop 'slip' if I were to give her full throttle hence the 4,000 rev limit for hole shot.
Has any one on here gone the 4 blade route? outcome?
I have a 2002 boat with 2010 4.3 and B 1 legs.
With just myself, wife and children on board I'm out of the hole and planing in a very short time (seconds). Add a few more people and there is a noticable 'delay' (just a few seconds more) in getting on the plane but certainly its no struggle. I...
You should have seen all the racists over here during the rugby world cup!!! every other car had a flag flying, some wern't very small either!
I'm in the camp which says if you live in another country you live by that countrys standards, expectations and values, by all means keep your own...
