2003 mercruiser 6.2L MPI.....How do you release the serpentine belt tension?

boat: 2003 340 Sundancer (375 international or SDA...newer shape 2003) I need the waterline length and waterline beam. When i inquired through the SR site they didn't know and gave me over-all numbers?!! Any idea where to find?

SR used Teleflex marine red/blue water hoses with metal compression fittings on the ends. A couple of these connections continue to leak and actually get worse the more you tighten them. I ended up replacing a couple of these hose runs with RV pipeing and those quick connect fittings...

Looking for advise from someone who has a 2003 340 Dancer (SDA) with the 6.2L V-drives. The problem: Poor responsiveness/handling at idle speed (docking....forget it if it's windy!)....poor top end speed relative to RPM....with the throttles all the way down the boat actually produces...
