Your first trip on the "new to you boat" was a big/long one

My trip was only 300 miles. One thing i did was pull out all of my anchor line for inspection. Didn't want any surprises as I planned to anchor a lot.

Sewing with Tenara Thread - Is it Really That Hard?

I did everything that you have done, no luck, still occasional skip. I noticed a correlation between skip and speed so i put a servo control on it and slowed the machine just a bit. Voila. No more skips.

Vacuflush vacuum switch shutoff vacuum level?

There should be a slot in the end of the screw. Secure it with a screwdriver before you turn the thumb wheel or else the entire thing will try to turn and rip the membrane.

Vacuflush vacuum switch shutoff vacuum level?

Adjust the switch. Don't let the screw twist, you will rip the membrane.

Yes. Try to force water thru the port on side of boat first. Crossing fingers.... Personally i would shut off seacock and remove hose from water pump. You wouldn't want to have anything plug the pump or get stuck in strainer. Easy enuf to vacuum water from bilge.

Water is plugged, hopefully it's the hose. Disconnect hose, attach garden hose, blow it out. Consider barnacle buster or similar after you get water flowing. Or you can force water thru port discharge and maybe it will back flush.

I reread your post. Remove the salon seat and look at the ac unit while it's running to see if it's leaking or if the pan is draining

Open the floor hatch. With a good flashlight look forward. If you see water then you have some work to do.

While you are at it check the thru hull. You can see it under the front sink after you remove the rear cover. Mine was cracked and dripping.
