Need to transport a 39 aft cabin from Long Island sound to the upper Chesapeake bay. Trying to decide weather to have it trucked if thats possible on run it down. Has anyone have any experience doing this?
I would do a few things to isolate the problem to the carburetor. First I would compare the #'s with the good carb. Mine didn't have tags on the carburetor but had #'s on the carb body. I would than switch Carburetors between engines. The carbs are easy to switch and it will insure that the...
After checking, my 12 volt system has me confused. My batteries go down in just a few hours when on the hook. I replaced both house batteries and had the same problem. Figuring I had something pulling the system down, I stated checking amp drain with a DC amp clamp. What I found is that the...

I am going to replace the original upholstery glued to the hull of my 350 with foam backed vinyl starting this weekend. I was looking at 3M's #77 and their super high strength. Loctite also makes a spray. 3M also makes a water base brush on. Does anyone have a suggestion?
I have a 91 350 with a helm seat that adjusts forward and back only. The way I drive I would like more height. I se a boat cushion or other cushions but I am going to build something that flips up. I have seen a lot of newer boats where the front part of the cushion flips up. Has anyone tried...

It is time t replace the tachs and Synchronizer on my 350. The gauges are different every-time out. This weekend at WOT both engines were at the same RPM (for a change) and the Synchronizer was pegged to Starboard. The factory gauges are no longer available. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I was looking for a cover last season. The idea of paying $600+ for shrink wrap every year didn't make sense. I found canvas covers very interesting but was also very expensive. In addition it is very heavy. On of the boats in my marina has one and has to have a lift truck unload it from his...
