i went under and didnt find anythign wrapped but found the prop is bent somewhat...dont remember hitting anything but who knows...i am hoping it can be repaired since it is just bent and not broke off
just started today.....engine vibrates so much you have to back off....not sure what problem could be ran fine last weekend. engine is not missing and shifts fine...just major vibration...i have a 2006 340 DA with twin 8.1 horizon v drives... any help would be appreciated...not sure but might...
ok...this thing is becoming a nightmare....i have tried everything i know to fix it...the switch on the dash is all molded to gether with all the other switches and only 4 wires go to that whole cluster ...so there is no way for me to rule out the switch...i have taken a 4 gauge wire and jumped...
here is a pic of mine...i installed it in the wine cooler which i have never used for any other purpose....i removed cooler (which took an act of congress to reach all those screws) and built a wooden frame the same size as cooler and slipped it back in cooler and then reinstalled the cooler...
ok i have took a 12 volt battery and ran wires direct to windlass and it goes up and down with ext battery. i took a multimeter and check center wire coming into the control module and it shows 12.89 volts but does not arc if touched to ground? i am cannot find the solenoid anywhere the...
i dont have my multi meter right now, i have been trying to locate the windlass latching solenoid that has a 5 amp fuse in it for about an hour now....no luck at all finding it...Lucky Dog i could not find the fuse your talking about in front of the control box....i did check all the connections...
hey guys...i have a 06' 340...first trip out this season windlass worked fine saturday, next day nothing...the light on the dash will not light up...check all breakers (one under wheel, one in bilge and another breaker in the bilge) all seem to be good)... i then turn off main breakers and back...
not trying to get off subject too much, but when i opened this thread the first thing i saw was what looked to be a bird in the water pickup.... just curious. if so how would it get in there.
I can vouch for this...class III/IV hitches are hollow and welded together the will crack the welds with this kind of wait...make sure your hitch is solid steel....will weigh about 15 lbs
I had a 04 280 w/ 5.0 Engines...never had a problem planing out quickly...as far as trailering it you will want at least a 12500 lb rating trailer. and a good Diesel 3/4 ton truck to pull it...i pulled mine for a while with a F350 which was more stable due to stiffer suspension, but my F250...
