Hi My name is Mike, and i am a new member looking for advice on replacing the floor on my Sea Ray with marine plywood, and fiberglassing over the top of it (i dont really want carpet because i think the water will soak into the boat faster with carpet)

I recently bought a 1993 Sea Ray 200 OV, the boat looks great but there is a soft spot over the gas tank, and the wood does not look like marine grade plywood. I am planning on removing / replacing the exposed Deck layer (not in the cuddy cabin though) and replacing the wood right. How hard is...
