I have two of these antennas on my hard top. They are not the GPS antenna. They have a very thin wire coming out attached to coax. Any thoughts on what they are would be appreciated.
No longer needed on my boat, all electronics were switched to Garmin before I bought it. If somebody needs it, I will be glad to ship it off, $25 including shipping.
This membrane was taken off the boat about two years ago. Not sure if it was pickled properly or not, if somebody can use it make me a reasonable offer plus shipping and its yours. It is 48" long and about a 2.5 " diameter.
I did try to remove the drain plugs; they will not budge. I bought some freeze out and will give it a try. Thank you for all the info, very much appreciated.
Thank you, that is the goal. I will do vinegar or Salt Away. Apollo was pretty adamant about not using grease on their fittings which is the opposite from Groco. Groco recommends it.
I thought the same, they are for draining water. The tech people at Apollo said I can flush fresh water through there. Can't imagine getting a whole lot of flow for flushing through an 1/8-inch opening. My valves can be opened and closed with some effort but definitely doable. Again, the tech...
I have the Apollo 3" flange mounted ball valve seacocks. They have two 1/8 caps, one on either side. Trying to get info from Apollo has been difficult but I am told they are to flush fresh water to clean out the salt. Does anyone out there have experience on doing this? Just curious on the...
Ok, changed out the control box and the thermo coupler. Seemed to solve the problem until a few days later. Doing the same thing. Leaning towards a battery condition. I am getting a reading of 28 volts at the thruster, but I cannot check under load because it clicks off.
Thank you Kevin, after further review it is the thermo coupler. I finally talked to a tech from Max Power, and he told me to remove one of the yellow wires from the thermo coupler and put it to a ground and if it worked the thermo coupler is bad.
Hello, the joystick power button will activate, but once i try to use bow thruster it goes off. I believe it is either the thermo switch or the control box. after further review I see the wire from the thermo switch plug looks like it is not in the control box all the way (see picture attached)...
