I tow my 195 with an F-250 with the Diesel. No issues at all and get 16mpg on the interstate.
If you buy a ridgeline, I will give you my number to come yank you out of the water... cause the unibodies are prone to flex, lose traction, and slip on inclines/declines when attached to a heavy...
195 Sport here, pullign it with a 2000 F-250 with 7.3L Powerstoke. Average around 16mpg holding a constant speed of 60mph. This is not the trip computer, but with actual hand calculation, but I have an upgraded charge cooler, exhaust, and chip.
1. Speed boats that must rev their engines at 4am.
2. People who go out on a boat, then dont want to get wet... in JULY!
3. Idiots who bought a boat and have no idea how to operate it and never thought to ask an experienced friend to help them out the firs trips out... and yes it shows!
Doesn't surprise me... they sold it last year and things were getting pretty low around there just before the handover and the new owners have hasd a lot to do to get things back up to par.
Dont you have a power tilt/trim? No matter what prop you have it shouldt cause you to see just sky.

I have a friend with a house boat that we usually dock to. Which means I just hav eto load my coolers up enough to keep everyon refreshed for however lomg we are out for a given run around. So, these work great. I tend to fit about 10 cans/bottles + ice per side. SO usually even the 4 or 5 hour...
That is my home lake. I am Docked at Mountain Lake Marina, near the Norris Dam.
If you have any concerns about launching your boat, you would have no issues at the dam. So, unless you can get confirmation that you will not have issues elsewhere, plan to launch there.

Last I heard, the was some block by TVA or other goverment agency that is preventing them from building condos on Mountain Lake. Last I hear there will be renovations and expansions to the camp ground area.
