I am hoepful there is no risk, but I was/am worried about grease drippings on the gel coat. My other concern is that the swim platform is right behind the blower outlets from the engine compartment.

Thanks for the tips. I too am nervous about grilling over the swim platform. I was hoping there was some easy way to have one that would hang over the side. I guess beer and sandwiches are just as good as beer and burgers !

Has anyone found a good place for a grill? Since the 200 Sundeck has no rails or rod holder poles, I am at a loss as to where a grill would go. Any ideas ?

I keep my boat at a slip in salt water. Do I need to flush the engine with clean water after use and if so how ? It is in I/O Mercruiser 4.3L MPI Alpha, 220 HP, gas engine. Thanks.
