The Sea Ray 280 DA comes original with 14x14 (special made) trim tabs by Bennet.
I need more lift in my boat. It has a Volvo KAD300 engine, and it takes a long time to plane.
Any tips about what Bennet trim tabs I can use ? And is it enought to change the plate ?

On each side, near the rear of the boat, there are "air holes" into the engine room. These air holes are tilted upwards. This makes it possible for rain to almost go straight into these holes...

Boat is Sea Ray 315 (280 in the US) with coloured hull (blue). It looks (and feels) like the hull is prepainted from Sea Ray. There is an extra layer of "something" on the part of the hull that is below the waterline.
Do you use bottom paint on top of this ?
