Mstick14, this is probably not that big of a deal. Likley either the screws backed out over time / vibration or they were not long enough. Sometimes they could just be stripped out. I bet you can fix this as a DIY. Remove the screws in the metal rubrail insert (check the screw length), sometimes...

Hi There, Could anyone help identify this boat? I know someone who thinks it is one of the first Sea Ray's built in 1959 but I don't think so with the double decker deck. Any ideas?

Oh, didn't answer the "work at Sea Ray" question. I do not, I just boat in the area and watch them test the new boats and talk to the test catains to see what is being built etc...

Question re: Tellico, The 240SD is the largest model they make. They start with the 185SP, to 195SP, 200SD, 205SPT, 210SEL, 210FZN, 220SD, 230SEL, 230FZN, and 240SD.

They build the 240DA, 250SLX, 260SD, 260DA, 270AJ, 270SLX, 290SLX, 290SD, and 290SS.

Tours are held all the time. Your boat is built at Riverview plant. You can call them at 865-637-3607. The Knoxville plant is about 2 miles away (building 28-34 feet) 865-525-9940. May be worth it to vist it also.
