On my boat, I have 12v to the vacuum generator for the head system all the way to the motor. Voltage drops to zero, however when the motor tries to start. The motor is new, and verified good, I ran it connected directly to the battery. Also I have tested and have voltage all the way to the...
Does anyone know where the ground bus for the vacuflush vacuum generator is located? I have 12v to the motor, but once the motor tries to start, voltage goes to zero. If I connect the motor directly to a battery it runs, so I think it is probably a bad ground, but I don't know where the ground...
While on the topic of electricity to the vacuflush, i need to verify that there is only the switch in the 12v panel, and the breakers in the head itself. There is no othe r fuse in the system? I have power to the panel in the head, and I can run the overboard discharge pump, but the vacuum...
I need to find a Kohler Tech that will come to the boat in Tampa.
I have a 5E that will not start, just cranks and does not fire.
Any advice is appreciated.
I am at MacDill for work. There is no marina on base, beyond what MWR manages for rentals.
We have an 03 Sundancer 280 and keep it in Apollo Beach, at Land's End Marina. They have wet and dry storage, but cannot put a 310 in the high and dry, but should have wet slips available. Good location...
My daughter has one of those to ride from parking to her med school. Likes it, gets the job done. The only downside, as mentioned is only handlebars fold.
"I think you're missing that 2%, 1%, even .5% of the population are big numbers greater than one million souls. Why is that so difficult to understand? There is a risk that those numbers of people may die from the virus without mitigation and as you say, it needs to be managed."
It is not 1% of...
It comes down to risk management. We practice it in my line of work every day. Take a look at what needs to be done, look at the possible outcomes based on experience and available information.... and decide if the risk is worth it.
In my opinion, we need to focus our preventative measures on...
So the medical community has not learned anything over the last 9 months? Survival rate has not improved? The cool thing about medicine and doctors is it is evidence based learning...Hospitalizations are getting shorter. The anticipatged ventilator shortage did not happen, hospitals were not...
In a vacuum, that may be the case, but not coupled with improved treatment, and the potential vaccines. I don't think the infection rate will ever get to that level. And I am not advocating "letting the virus run free" but we can use what we know to protect those most likely to die....the age...
Since we are talking about lethality:
Death Rates by age. (Cases v. Death)
18-29 y/o 977 deaths.... .04% mortality
30-39 y/o 2,376 deaths.... .16% mortality
40-49y/o 5,631 deaths..... .43% mortality
50-64y/o 27,690 deaths.. 1.5% mortality
This tells me that for large portion of...
