yup, I agree with Wetpaint. Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina is where I always stay when we go to Newport. Its close to all the action, but quite enough when you don't want to hear all the noise.

I'm heading to Nantucket for 6 nights between 8/6 - 8/13. I had to take out a 2nd mortgage to pay for it. Is there anyone else planning a trip to Nantucket, let me know...I'd love to meet up for a cocktail or 2.

I have the maxi tabs (like in the video above). Mine are 6 or 7 years old and the biggest problem is the mounting brackets. They are made so taht you can take the TABs on and off. If you are in any sort of choppy water, the top bracket keeps coming out and the tabs don't do anything then...

I'm not sure where you can get the official information, but I can tell you that I burn (on avg) 17.5 Gals / hour. I have a 2000 400 with 3116 CATs. It has been around this number for the past 3 seasons (as long as I have owned the boat).

I went thru Woods Hole yesterday at around 12:15PM. I must have just missed that from happening. It was really busy going thru....a lot of traffic. That is a tough area if you don't follow the charts and markers exactly.

I have the eact same problem on my boat. I do the same thing as sfergson727 after I replaced a few of them.

How about the weekend of Aug 20-22 at Kingman. Even if folks want to anchor out, there is a small island - Bassetts Island with plenty of room to anchor.
