RECENT PRICE DROP. Looking at a couple other boats. Need to sell the Sea Ray. For the money it is a nice boat with all the bells and whistles. Bow thruster alone was $11k. http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/boa/5627241454.html
RECENT PRICE DROP! I am looking at a couple other boats. Need to sell the Sea Ray. For the money this is a great 33' that shows very well with all the bells and whistles. http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/boa/5627241454.html
Hi 330 Owners, well that day has come. After 6 years of ownership (entering my 7th season with the 330DA) its time to move up and find something I can fish a little. This group and this thread has been so helpful over the years. I will certainly mention this site to who ever buys my boat. So...
I posted on the classifieds but I thought I'd throw a link on the Northeast forum to. If anyone is looking for or knows anyone looking for a 32 to 34 Sundancer, I'm selling mine after 6 years. Loved the boat, but with 2 growing kids and one looking to fish I need something a bit bigger and...
This boat has been nothing been great for my family. We're entering our 7th season with the boat and its finally time to move up to something that I can fish with my growing son. If you're in the market for a 32' to 34' this boat is worth looking at. I still think the late 90's 33' Sundancer...
Thanks for the reminder about the Chart Room opening next week. I'm getting splashed this Saturday, so if the weather is good on May 14th I think I might have to make a trip to Red Brook... That first mudslide of the season is always the best one!
Tim, next time I'm on the boat I'll try to get some pics of where the floscan units are mounted and the helm display I have. As for the genny don't get me started. I had a rough year with genny issues. Started with what I thought was a needed impeller. Turns out the raw water pump was seized...
Bump on our 330 thread... I'm heading into my 4th winter with the 330 and every year I've tackled a few key maintenance items. Yr 1 - Replaced port heat exchanger and port fuel pump. Yr 2 - replaced all belts, all oil line to and from oil filter and starboard fuel pump. Yr 3 - replaced both...
If your genny is positioned like mine, the belts and water pump are facing aft in the aft corner of the bildge and it is f'ing impossible to see what you're doing. I had to unbolt my genny from the bildge, disconnect exhaust, remove my 454 riser and exhaust just so I could work on the damn...
Anyone replace their incandescent bulbs with LEDs? I know it's as easy as swapping out the bulbs, but I'm not sure which LED bulbs are the correct replacement. I'm looking to do both my lower cockpit attwood lights and the dome lights in the head and engine room. I replaced my arch lights...
I'd put money on it that a tune up will fix the problem. I had this issue 2 summers ago. Man can that clattering sound drive you crazy or what! :smt021 I used to tell people as I was manevuring into my slip that I had rocks in my transmission...
I did a quick tune up on my starboard engine...
Agreed. The biggest pro with the IOs would be a little better fuel economy and maybe a knot or two faster cruise. But maintenance on the drives sucks. I hated painting those drives. Maneuvering around the docks will be better with v drives. My last boat was the last IO boat I'll ever own.

Looked through this thread and couldn't find an answer to this one... Anyone know what size flax packing the rudder posts use? I'm guessing 1/4 - 1/2" but have no idea.
Also on a separate note I'd like to say that I've been working with a friend who is a marine mechanic and we have...
I have FloScans installed and at 3200 and 22 kts I'm burning 28-30 an hour. At 3000 rpms I can still cruise at 18-19 kts and burn 24gph. At both speeds I'm getting about .87 miles per gallon.
I found it... much easier than I thought it would be. Also check this pdf file out. What a great resource. This pdf should be saved by all of us for future reference.

Would anyone know the diameter of the stern tube aka shaft log (the tube the shaft goes into as it passes through the hull) on the 330 ('97)? I am replacing my Tides Dripless shaft seals with PSS, but I don't know the stern tube diameter and in order for me to get a measurement I need to remove...
We use the single serve Keurig on the boat. It's small enough that I.ll leave out on the galley counter for the wknd but will store it when under way.

I'm out and shrink wrapped on the hard... almost wish I was still floating. My marina was built by the Army Corp of Engineers and is rated for a hit from a Cat 2 hurricane. My yard where the boat is stored is surrounded by very tall trees... I don't think they're rated for Cat 2! Although we...
