Valance Zipper track on the arch.

Update: so I removed and replaced all the screws in the track and the zipper slid through fine. All the screws were catching or at least most of them.

Valance Zipper track on the arch.

Bought a replacement zipper that runs in the track across the top of the arch and having a bear of a time getting the new one to easily slide all the way across. Tried Chap Stick, WD40 and liquid dish detergent with no success just killing my hands and fingers trying to pull it through the...

    Removing and Saving shrink-wrap?

It was easy ... I cut the tie string that runs under the lip molding of the boat and tied knots on each end at the stern. Then I worked one corner at the stern off while at a time and rolled the wrap over the top towards the bow. Once I got to the bow it popped right off the front of the boat...

The New Sled - 9100LB Aluminum

I too picked up a trailer after an exhaustive search for my 270 Sundancer. I picked it up about 100 miles away, triple axle with no problems towing the boat to winter storage. Not that I had any problems towing with the Suburban I still think it would be good to have breaks on the trailer. How...

    270 Sundancer Group

Guess I will start this out and see if there are others that would like to share pictures and ideas to get the most out of our 270 Sundancers. I "big time upgraded" last summer out of a 24 foot Bayliner when someone offered me more than double what I paid for it. I was lucky to find my 1996...

    Late 90's 270 Sundancer Thread

I found mine in a barn (stored for 3 years) and made an offer below $20K. Love my 1996 270 Sundancer and looked at a few others from ads and Craigslist. All others were over $25K

    Trailer for Sale

I have $2000 at this time of you still have the trailer and can do that price. I know it's worth more but am limited on how much I can put into a trailer for my 270 Sundancer and hope to find a used trailer by October. I live in MA. Thanks for considering.

    First Sea Ray

Hi Folks .... I'm new here and soon to be a Sea Ray Owner (Finally). Dumped the Bayliner so I could get a SR and landed on a 1996 270 Sundancer in great shape. Anyone know what a fair price is to pay on this single engine boat with the 7.4 Merc? Any issues or know problems to watch out for...
