    I'v used 3M products for the past 20+ years and a Makita 9227 the last 10. I highly recommend both. It is best to use a scaffold or similar set up so the hull is at torso level, otherwise it doesn't matter how light your wheel is...anything overhead s-u-c-k-s.

    300 Weekender illuminated switch panel??

    Well I did some "testing" last night with a flash light behind the switch panel and the labels showed quite well. The striplight posted above looks like the ticket. I didn't notice a 120v transformer while I was back there though, will look tonight. thanks,

    Does anyone know if there was lighting behind the switch panel lettering on a 1985 300WE dash? I can't find any evidence of SR ever installing at factory, either that or the PO did a very clean job removing it . I've seen other posts regarding dimmer switches and luminescent tapes on later '80's...
