Mag - I jumped from the 07 240 to a 07 280 with twin 5.0. Docking is so much easier, I only put 25 hours on this summer, so I really don't have a good feel for fuel economy outside of what Smartcraft tells me. Clean hull, new boat, we had it up to 51 mph on the delivery day.

the FW V358 is a tough boat to beat vs. the SeaRay 340 DA or 38DA. I kind of liked the 358 more than the 378.

I appreciate the feedback. I will have to ask my local dealer about the "spit test". I will post his reaction! We are going to take a closer look at the 340 and 330. I would hate to leave the SeaRay family, but I gotta listen to the admiral!

Unklbuck - thanks for the update - I will drop you a quick email today and maybe we can set this up in September. We only have about 3 weeks left at DCL with the water drawdown this year for dam repairs.
