I just got a telescopic flagpole and flag that mounts in the stern light base just like the stern light does. It seems pretty solid in there although I haven't run with it in yet. I got it on another boating forum site that has an online store. It is made by Seasense.

West Marine will have the black windsheild latches. They may also have the stubby posts that keep the flip open piece from hitting the fixed windshield. I don't know what size bulb, but at the sitch there should be a circuit breaker that pops out if it is tripped.

The locker should have a drain to the bilge area. If it's on the trailer take the plug out and crank the jack so the bow is high and let it drain. Try some compressed air to be sure it's not clogged.
