Thanks Richard, I'm not to handy with a sewing machine, but I can remove the cushions and back rest and take them to a reupholster to be done. Not sure about the arm rest and the frame. I also plan on removing the fold out bed since we never use it.

My dearest doesn't like the color of our 2 sofas and dinette upholstery so I'm evaluating options. First thought would be to recover them. Has anyone tackled this? How difficult is it to remove the sofas and the dinette to be sent out to be reupholstered? Are there other options? Any thoughts...

Official 47 Sedan Bridge Owners Group

Several years ago, I was shopping for a new to me 47DB after selling my 540CMY because of its bridge clearance. I never got an accurate answer to the bridge clearance on the 47DB. Some said 17' others said 19'. Well, I settled for 2007 44DB and it has been a perfect boat except we miss our mid...

Hi Todd, John Bruno here from the BLC. The battery chargers for the mains and the bow thruster are located under the galley steps in front of the washer/dryer. You can get a voltage reading from the bow thruster batteries located under the cockpit hatch on the starboard side. They may have a...

I'm looking for a flag pole similar to the image below. I believe it is the original stainless steel flag pole Sea Ray delivered with their new yachts. It's Sea Ray part # 1190354. I've tried most of the Sea Ray parts suppliers to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I purchased a 2007 Sea Ray 44 Sedan Bridge last fall. Does anyone know where I might locate bedding (bed spreads and pillow covers) for the master and twin beds. I would prefer OEM but would settle for custom covers if I could locate the patterns. Did Sea Ray make the bed spreads inhouse in...

    48 DA Owners Club

Hello all, I'm considering selling my 2002 Sea Ray 540 CMY primarying because of the high bridge clearance and looking at going to a 2005-2007 480 Sundancer. My last 3 Sea Rays have been Sedan Bridges (2001 400, 2003 480 and the 540). What are the unique issues with the 480 DA that I should be...

I thought the same about the silver pieces, my guess is the black pieces maybe impeller pieces that broke off.

A very knowledgeable friend of mine bought a 1997 Sea Ray last year with DDEC's and while on a cruise out of state, one of his detroits died. He was laid up for 2 months getting both engines rebuilt. Basically lost most of the summer and a lot of $.

Yes, I checked the faucet screens, the slow water flow in evident on all outlets including the heads. I get a pulse of water then air then more water flow. I can fill the bowl but it takes very long to do so. I'm going to replace the accumulator tank and see if that helps.

OK, I checked the accumulator tank and the pressure gauge was zero. I pressurized the tank and then tried the faucet but still very slow water stream. Removed both outlets to the pumps and turned then on and there's a pretty good flow coming from the pumps. I'm guessing it's the accumulator tank??

Thanks. I'm not sure how you go about checking the pneumatic accumulator tank or should I just replace it?

I forgot to mention, one of the first things I check were the screens and they were clean.

I'm having a problem with my fresh water pumps, just getting very little pressure and the pumps continue to run after the faucets are turned off. At first, I thought it was an air pocket but after several attempts of bleeding the lines, I ruled that out. I've checked through out the bilge and...

I believe the Sub Zero's have a 15 year warranty on the cooling system. I had mine replaced under warranty a couple years ago and she's been running fine since.

Starting the search for a 48/50 sundancer

Consider a 48/50 Sedan Bridge, especially if you are going to travel. Much more living space and you're not living in the basement. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk

480 Sedan Bridge - survey found moisture in hull?

Cottagegirl. I have a 2003 with the Cummins QSM11 and my survey from 4 years ago was dry as a bone. Btw, it's for sale. PM me for more info. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk

Any clever methods of strapping kayaks on a 380DA or similar?

Island Time Buffalo. Quick solution, just buy a nice SR 480 Sedan Bridge and you can strap them on the much larger hydraulic swim platform. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk

    advise on 1 1999 DA or 1996 37 da

I just sold my 2002 380 I had for 2 years and I loved it. It had the 8.1s and ran great. It took the heavy seas with ease. Last summer we ran from Buffalo to Erie, PA in 4 to 5's and although I slowed down somewhat, we felt safe the entire trip. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
