Where to mount a new Airmar P79 "shoot thru the hull" transducer on a 225 WE

I have a 2006 225 weekender and I was wondering where to mount a new P79 "shoot thru the hull" transducer in the engine compartment. The factory installed one is on the port side, is it ok to install a new one on the starboard side? will they interfere with each other?
