Anyone else with a 1988 SeaRay Sorrento S24?

Yep that was after backing down. I'm going to put the stainless 14.5"x17" prop back on it next weekend and go from there. I just didn't like cruising around 30mph at 3500rpm which is where the 17" puts me. I can do that same speed at 3000RPM with the alluminum 19". I've had the engine up to 4500...

Anyone else with a 1988 SeaRay Sorrento S24?

Thanks MikeC and Towerguy1. I'm still fine tuning it a little bit. Mine will cruise at 30 -32mph with a half tank of gas and 3100-3200RPM and two people on board. It sounds alot faster than it really is with the thru-hulls. I've done a bit of work to mine. I've got some pics I'll post later...

    88' S24 performance

Hey guys I'm new to the board. I recently bought an 88 24' Sea Ray Sorrento. The boat had a reman'd 5.7L Crusader in it when I got it but when I took it out the first time i could hear/feel what sounded like a blown head gasket. I got it home, disassmbled it and I was correct. I went ahead and...
