Thanks, Purchased a 310 SunSport, Problem is the hatch lifting mechanism only lifts it a few feet or so and unable to get in to service the engines. There use to be an extender bar bolted on the end of the cylinder that gave it another couple of feet. Due to some recent servicing it's come up...

    Re finishing forward berth question...

Well I've flogged that one to death. If anyone has had moisture at the headline in the vee berth area it comes down on the sides and it's difficult to clean the stain off so I have to figure something. I'll check around and find what the material it is and how to refinish it and report back if...

    Re finishing forward berth question...

That's a good one, I'm not quite sure how to remove above the shelf line to the head liner in the vee berth. It seems like its glued in position and I'm worried about damaging it. Maybe someone else can suggest a removal procedure or even what type of board it is! I have found that a cleaning...

    Re finishing forward berth question...

There are Philips screws behind the buttons. As I am reupholstering I cut across the button to expose the screw but is not necessary as the screw is close to the button. If your taking off the trim at the shelf level let me know as it is a different procedure.

1988 30' Weekender and have some stains on upper sides of vee berth. This caused by the forward quarter gunwales or stanchions leaking leaving a huge stain. I'm not sure what the material is and doesn't seem too damaged to the touch just the stain. Have removed the upper trim which showed a damp...
