The cap is on the port side, but it's a totally different configuration on the
Weekender. Your Sundancer is twin I/O's, the Weekender is inboards. Water
tank and gas tank along the port side. If I can't find a cap, drilling out is
probably the best solution. Replacement cap sure would be...
rclnecht, that would be great. I'd certainly be happy to pay something for it and of course any shipping costs.
Please let me know either way when you have a chance to talk with him.

Either way, thanks for your efforts.
Thanks guys. I appreciate the input. I was hoping someone might know of a salvage yard where I might find a replacement cap.
Looks like I might have to go with one of the other ideas.
Thanks again.
Thanks Jason, but I tried that. The manufacturer is out of business and Sea Ray CS was unable to help.
It seems to be an odd thread, I've purchased all that I've found and none have
fit. That's why I'm thinking I need to find a salvage yard that is parting out
a boat in the 84-90 time...
It looks like the one Todd posted. I have purchased at least 4 different caps, but the threads are not the same.
Sea Ray apparently used a different supplier for the fresh water fill than the waste or fuel, the threads are different.
They quit using that supplier about 1990 and don't have any...
I appreciate the reply, but I need just the cap with the correct threads. Apparently there are nuts on the botton of the plate and to access them I would have to pull the engine and the water tank.
I'm looking for a flush mount water cap to fit a 1984-89 Sea Ray. It is not the same as the gas or waste cap. Different threads. I probably need to find a boat graveyard. Can anyone help?
Which one did you buy. Do you mean the cap fit your existing neck or you replaced the whole thing. I'm trying to avoid that, if
yours is like mine, I'd have to pull the water tank. I really appreciate your help.
I'm looking for the flush mount cap for the fresh water deck plate.
I have a 1989 Weekender, but Sea Ray tells me they used that cap on most of their boats from 1987-1994.
Anyone have one? please email o_duvall@yahoo.com
email doesn't show properly it is o(underscore)duvall@yahoo.com
I'm looking for the cap for the flush mount fresh water deck plate. I have an 89 Weekender, but thinking yours might be the same, if it has a fresh water tank?
Do you have the cap for the deck plate for the fresh water
tank?
I'm new to this board, have you sold the interior? Don't see an answer for the color and material? Any pictures?
