On a business trip to France last week, I attended a cocktail party on this. Spent the whole night saying, "there's a big difference between 35 meters and 35 feet"! :smt001
I've witness the same problem twice on my Kohler 5ECD. I'm irritated by it. Worried about leaving the battery switches on when she's unattended. But, it's too low on the priority list to tackle.
Let us know if you get a resolution! :)
Welcome to the life. No place in the world better to be a boater than the PNW!
Re: NADA pricing, I sent this link in another post, but think it might be helpful to you - Used Sea Ray buyer's guide, published by Boat U.S. Provides hi-lo ranges on most every model. Hope it helps. (Click the...
Received this in my email yesterday from Boat U.S. (click the bottom box to go to the link).
I'm surprised how comprehensive it is. Any thoughts on accuracy of the hi/low prices?

What do you do with a Shop-Vac full of oily water?
When Sea Ray did my annual maintenance, they left me a little red ring of transmission fluid in the bilge water (water comes in regularly from the rod holders). I used oil absorbent pads, but if I'd had more to deal...
Big Billy, that's a great tip!
Laying on top of the engine cover, trying not to lay too hard, squeezing that hard rubber impeller to fit into the genny, is a wicked project. (I'm convinced that working in the 330 engine compartment is a CIA-approved form of torture).
Tie-wraps...love those...
Did this project myself on my 330 last year.
The grounding bar is exactly what you want.
If you're going to piggy back on to an existing breaker switch, make sure you've got enough headroom (if everything on that switch is on at the same time, will you exceed the rating of the breaker?)...
"Ritz owes about $13 billion in debt to other parties under a series of debentures issued in 1995".
Just shows you how old I am....I can remember when that was a lot of money.

The 330 does have dual 30A inputs, but we don't draw enough to need the second cord. We run with one and "transfer" power to the right side of the distribution panel.
No significant power drains on the boat. Two fridges (cockpit and the larger of the two in the galley), and the battery...
We've had our new boat in our new slip since February. Starting in April, we started losing the 30 amp service from the dock stantion. Disconnecting from the shorepower and waiting for a few hours got the power back on, only to fail again some time later. I tried a different power cord and the...
We leave ours up year-round.
There are only two seasons in the Puget Sound....wet and sunny. The first one lasts about 9 months, the second perhaps 3. The canvas extends our boating season in the former and makes hanging in the rear cockpit bearable in the later. :)
Before we took delivery...
Took some visiting relatives to the locks yesterday (flatlanders never seen so much water in their lives. :)).
Small lock was closed and they ran the large lock with 14 or so small/medium boats.
