why, WHY do we here at a SEA RAY OWNERS GROUP tolerate bullshit like this. That was one of the reasons SRO was formed. To get AWAY from idiots bashing Sea Rays.
I'm guessing they fix the hole before they re-sell the boat! Also, setting a resale value for the boat would now have to take into account that the boat has 'new' motors.
When I went through the locks a bunch of years back, I was told to use heavy duty plastic bags over the fenders. It worked great. After the lock trip, we turned the plastic bags inside out and used them for trash bags.
But, as you load up the boat with fuel, water, anchor chains, stuff, etc, etc, wouldn't you go slower at the same RPM if you ran the same boat 'light'?
If so, then at a given RPM the MPH would go down and the GPH stays the same so your MPG will go down. So even if you burn the same GPH...
