Ok folks, for those of you that are interested in converting your 310 over to all LED, here is what I did and the bulb info.
Cabin Accent Lighting: For the accent rope lighting under the cabinets and such, I went on Amazon and found the white led strip lights that come in the 16' spool 12v 300...
I certainly have not but I am looking for them. I do know that you need to convert the E style euro style base to the domestic which you can get the insert on ebay or amazon or your local store. But if anyone knows where we can find the LED screw in bulbs for these overhead lights please share.
Thanks for the info. The cabin fixture light bulbs (twin wire) that I got before and that you show are nowhere near bright enough. One led is just not enough down there unfortunately. Also, the wedge bulbs I found and that again you show I did purchase a while ago and they seem to be too thick...
Thanks-found one on amazon. I am going to try to find an LED replacement. I'm assuming the adapter will simply allow me to put a normal bulb in there available in any hardware store...
Thank you for the sites. I have been on both of these and many more. I found the wedge and bipin style, however, the screw base 110v overhead in the cabin (see pic) are not easily found and I still have not located them in an LED option.
I want to upgrade my cabin lighting on my '99 310 to LED. I am looking for the 12v wedge, 12v bi-pin and the 130v screw base overhead light bulbs in LED. Has anyone upgraded and does anyone have the BEST source for affordable LED bulbs? I have looked at a bunch but want to check before I order...
Thank you for the input. I am a fan of I/O's, especially in my area of Northern Michigan where we have shallower water and beach options. Also, I agree with the trailering part. I have found a GREAT deal on a 1998 Sea Ray 310 for $40k, freshwater but it doesn't have a generator. I have found a...
Can I pose another question? A 2003 Regal 3260 Commodore, freshwater boat, essentially the same as the Sea Ray 310 except for this. This was a REPO boat, and it was left outside to the elements for 6-8 months. The dealer that bought it redid the upholstery, and it is in nice shape now. Here is...
Thanks. I was told that vdrives are really loud on this boat, and most boats under 35'. Also, they are not as efficient as I/O's...Again, I am asking...thanks for the advice!
I am comparing two different 310's.
Facts all being equal:
one is 1999, one is 2001
both are i/o bravo 3 outdrives, gas engines
both are 310da models
both have almost 260 hours
1999 has all raytheon electronics including auto pilot!
1999 is $45,000
2001 is $52,000
both are freshwater boats...
I am putting my 240 Sea Ray in Heated Storage this winter and am not winterizing the engine. Do I need to disconnect the batteries or just keep them trickle charged every so often?
Thanks for the story. I have a 2.5 gal in my 240 and same problem. I was planning on buying a 5gal system so this is good info. For now though, just pulled it out of Grand Traverse Bay in Traverse City MI for the season. See you next spring!
I have a 240 Sundancer with a Norcold TEK 2 Refrigerator. It is dual voltage; works on battery and shore power. Recently, it has only been working on battery power and not on shore power, I have changed nothing.
Question: Is there a relay or something that may be preventing the shore power...
