I was concerned about cutting a hole in my boat so I took the chicken way out and had it done. As I recall (10 years) it was not too costly. Then again, everything on a SeaRay is costly.

That's a whole bunch of base! The only draw back (for me) would be those times when I pull out the cockpit carpet and rear seat and fish. I can see a waleye (I probably misspelled that) flopping around on the center speaker. I really like the look of your cabin!!! Did your boat come that way...

I hate scrolling as well, especially when I'm on the road with my laptop as I am now. The power cords were changed after the first season. Mine used to come out of the cabinet under the cockpit sink, run up and over the port side. I really hated the look and they were always in the way...

Hey Guys, I just ordered the Lowrance SonicHub which comes with 2 speakers and an optional subwoofer can be added. I think the subwoofer would be nice to have but I'm not sure where I would put. Has anyone installed a stereo system in their cockpit with subwoofer? Where did you hide it?
