I looked back through some of my pictures as well. Here is a raft-up in Bimini in June of 2009
Jack is here on the stern of Odyssey
This is in Bimini from September of 2009. This is a sunken freighter called the Sapona near Bimini. It was blown up there years ago by a hurricane. As you can...
JACK ENSLEY
It is with sadness and a heavy heart that I report the passing of Jack Ensley. Jack was one of those guys that made a difference in my life. I can honestly say my life is better having known Jack.
I met Jack a few years ago, interestingly enough we met on Club Sea Ray. A group of...
I don't think Sarah and Matt will be coming.
I've been sitting at the computer this evening trying to find a map or directions to the healing hole. I did find by looking at the satellite image what appears to be an inlet and a real nice beach on the NE side of the island.
From the looks of...
Hi all
It looks like it will be the wife and I for Bimini. Still working on the genny, parts are on the way (supposedly).
Still trying to get both the bottom job and wax job done before the trip......not sure it will happen.
I'll be bringing bicycles as Bimini is very conducive to travel by...
I was in the same position exactly. I have a 1990 350 DA. I lost one engine to water intrusion. The boat came with the original Mercruiser 454's. I found a good deal on a pair of Mercruiser 502's with Electronic Fuel Injection that were a few years old but had never been used nor installed on a...
I've geen going through the process of finding the best tank monitor system as well. Here is a link you may find helpful. http://www.sealandsanitation.com/PracticalSailorTankMonitorComparison.pdf

I second Randy's post, come on down. We welcome anyone that wants to go.
As to the 240 crossing the gulf stream, just pick your weather. I went to Bimini last month with a group. Weather was not ideal. Noaa called for 3-5 in the gulf stream and we all know they are always spot on. Well, it was...
So who's up for a Bimini trip in August. My son Chris comes home from St. Maarten on August 18. We will be leaving early on August 19 out of Port Everglades and returning early on August 23. We will be staying at Bimini Big Game, should be awesome.
Anyone else want to go?

Just back from a trip to Bimini. As someone has already said: pick your weather. Going over was about 5-7 with 8 & 10 footers thrown in for fun. It was a rough slow trip. Coming back was 2-4 with a following sea, a piece of cake.
Your boat would do fine in good weather. You may want to...
I agree with Randy.
We stayed at Big Game Thursday and the traffic was light. Friday the crowds started arriving and by friday night all the marinas were about full.
We tend to spend a lot of time out on the water doing things and it didn't feel too crowded out on the water. Bimini Bay was...
We had a great time in Bimini this Memorial Day weekend. The crossing was smooth due to the long frequency swells, my crew didn't hit thew deck until we were within site of Bimini and there were some swells that we at least 6-8.
The White Pearl was the first boat to arrive at Bimini Big Game...
Jack ,
As I'm sure you are well aware with the right equipment and proper planning a mudslide can happen just about anywhere; and yes I WILL have the proper equipment.

Now here are a few of my favorite pics of Bimini. This is Jack jumping from the upper deck of the Sopona. Iguess we will all have to grow a set and man up to keep up with Jack.
This is Jack launching from the upper deck of the Sapona
And of course Jack after the jump
Jack, as always...
