Bruce, I had the same problem when I replaced the wheel on our last boat a 310DA after removing the machine screws I had to spray with penetrating oil let it sit for a bit then at the same time your pulling the wheel tap on the center bolt with a plastic malett it came right off. be sure to sand...

Just sold our 99 280SS Aniversary edition this past fall....Definetly one of the sweetest boats I have owned...what a head turner! We did trailer It several times a year it pulled great on our tri-axle trailer, but it is a load if you travel to a place that has steep launch ramps like here in TN...
