I am experiencing a drop of RPM's on my port engine. If I run 3,000 - 3,200 rpm's it seems ok. This past weekend I had 8 adults and had to give it more throttle to maintain plane. The rpm's started to drop off. Then it would surge to normal for a couple of minutes, only to drop off again...

I have a 2000 340 also and changed the engine impellers. I wrote everything down that I did to change them, socket sizes, tools needed, and what I had to do to access them (the hardest part of the job). I have these instructions available and can email them to you. I am 5'11" and weigh 170...

Windjammer - We have a 2000 340 with 7.4s and v-drive, fresh water cooling. We make frequent 1 1/2 hour runs, usually in the 3200-3400 rpm range (around 20 - 23 knots). Average fuel burn is 25 gph.

Have you done this? I have a 2000 340 with the 7.4's, three bladed props and would love to find a way to increase efficiency.

I have a 340 Sundancer that has fabric on both sides of the center-line bed. A slight amount of mildew is appearing on the fabric. Any suggestions on how to remove the mildew and treat the fabric with damaging it?[/b]
