    7.4 MPI Oil Change Issue

I brought the engine up to operating temperature on the trailer with the muffs. I first sucked it through the tube by clamping a 3/8s hose on it, then after I got as much as possible I put the smaller tube in to check and didn't get anymore. Both sucked air bubbles after I got the 4.3 litres out.

    Bravo 3 clicking noise

Hard to think of descriptive terms, but it sounds like gears making contact which seems normal. Just wondering before I find out the hard way.

With the boat on the trailer and the engine off, I can hear a clicking noise from the lower unit when I turn the prop by hand in either direction. The drive is in neutral. It sounds like noise from the gears making contact. Is this normal?

    7.4 MPI Metal in Oil/Filter

New to me 1999 270 Searay with a 7.4 mpi. I found tiny metal shavings in the oil and larger ones in the filter, but there is no knocking at idle or start up. Possibly a faint knock at 2000 rpm. Oil pressure at 2000 rpm on mechanical guage is 25 psi. Engine was run a couple hours low on oil...
