Pelican Bay is our favorite anchorage. And nights like the last few would have been fantastic with no genny running over night for the AC. It will be getting toasty in a month or so.
A few marinas are up and running. Pink Shell, Tween Waters, Fishermans Village, Palm Island and a few others...
Got a piece of galvanized sheet metal from H.D. Approximately 21" x 24". Made a jury rigged press brake and bent all edges and angles to fit tight over freezer shelf. Back drain angle was bent on the downward slope to allow any water to flow to the lower level. Used some A.C. duct work tape for...
Hello Carter,
Your right. Ft.Myers Beach has come a long way but has a long way to go.
Fair amount of restaurants are now open. Pink Shell Marina is coming along nicely. Been there twice over the last month.
Fair winds,

And those great minds just keep on pumping!
Was at Ft. Myers Beach Pink Shell Marina last week and noticed a/c was not discharging very well. So today I fresh water flushed the entire system from the strainer to the discharge for about a half an hour. Lots of mucky water came out but cleared...
Just wondering if anyone has used a diluted mixture of "Phosphoric Acid" instead of the BB product for cleaning out the A/C units we have on board? Much like the "Poopy Powder" chemistry that was discovered for the holding tanks!
Fit like glove. Was also able to remove some excess wires and made it look nice and clean. Birthday present for my wife, so extra points for me!! Have pics, but i don't have a nine year old available to help me figure out how to attract them. Outta my pay grade for sure!!!
You're right. Seasoned dock attendant helped me out and the cap sunk rite to the bottom! Went to Home Depots plumbing section and bought a "PVC male threaded end cap" for a $1.00 six years ago.
Thanks canderton,
Since our original to the boat, flat screen tv, that was attached to the cabinet door allows us to have galley storage on that shelf when the door was opened. Under the shelf is where the DVD player is located. It sounds like our configuration is different that the majority of...
Thanks Rob,
That would be great. Our TV is just attached to the door. Looking at modifing a bracket to be attached above the cabinet to allow TV to swing up to have access in the cabinet. Then swing down to be in front of cabinet door to watch. Would love to see your pics!

So now that you have released it, what are you doing with it? I ask because our galley Zenith FLAT SCREEN has just started to fade away. Haven't found much that will drop rite in. We watch the galley tv quite a bit. Looking to see if anyone has replaced it with newer technology!
Thanks in...
Need to move this trip up on the bucket list!
Unless something has changed, not much for fuel between Alton and Paducah. Traveled with couple with 454's and made it to Green Turtle Bay Marina on fumes!
Best on luck.
