    How involved are your kids?

I can count on one hand how many times i've been on our boat WITHOUT the kids. The are 6 and 10 and would live on it if they could. The 10 year old is actually starting to be a help rather than a hindrance when it comes to docking. I don't know what we'd do as a family without our boat. That...

Great! Have you been there long? Can you use the water and electricity? I noticed a pretty long hose near the building. That's one thing I've been concerned about, not having room at home to clean, wax, etc.

I'm trailering and keeping it in covered storage in Ballentine. Unfortunately I don't have the space to keep it at the house. It was a tough decision because there was a very very nice '03 220 at SR of Cola (may still be there). But it came down to the fishing.

But I'd still like to hang around! It was a really hard decision to sell my boat, but at least I sold it to my brother so it's still in the family. I got a Scout Dorado 222 for it's fishing capability and it's better suited for trips to the coast. Can I still stick around?

    boat storage

Yes, it has been stored indoors. How much impact does sunlight have on gelcoat?

    boat storage

I've kept my boat in dry storage for 10 years. I am thinking about bringing it home. My question is this: if I've got a good cover, why should I be concerned? Is it really that much of a difference?

    stern light problem

Does anyone have any problems with a perko stern light? I've spent HOURS trying to figure out why the bulb won't stay tight enough to stay lit while underway. I've replaced the light, I've tried different bulbs. I don't think it's the light receptacle because if I hold the bulb with my hand...

240 DA owners, do you overnight?

I do see a bunch of 240 SDs on Lake Murray. I like the bowriders better though.

240 DA owners, do you overnight?

SeaRide, great point about the AC. A nice 1999 230 would be perfect :) How about a trade? My 1998 185, a pop up camper and a dog for your boat?

240 DA owners, do you overnight?

Thanks for the great insight. What I'm thinking is maybe an early 2000s 240DA if we were going to try to get all four of us (two adults, a 10 year old, and a 5 year old) for overnight, and that would be snug. Otherwise I really need something bigger unless just me and my wife. I really do...

240 DA owners, do you overnight?

We boat and camp. But we don't camp as much as we'd like because we can only tow the boat or the trailer, not both. So my question is: how many of you overnight on your 240 Sundancer? Is it big enough for a family of four? Or am I really just going to end up having a closed bow for storage...
