I did the test with the airfilter off, the port engine is not making the punching noise. It comes from the inlet and there is no fibration in the engine which causes this sound. I will test the turbo on thursday and will come back on this. Thanks!!!!

Since last week my stb engine is giving a lot of blue smoke. (Also hot) After opening the airfilter we noticed that there was hardly flow into the turbo compared with the other engine and the intercooler seemed totaly full with oil. After cleaning the intercooler the blue smoke is not...

This is indeed the problem. I turned the halon override button on and everything worked !!! Is is the purple wire that is interrupted by the halon system

Here some additional photos during the construction. An advise: sandblasting the underwatership with real fine sand (forgot the name) with little water. this will remove all antifouling and gives a perfect surface for the new primer and antifouling. (Do not sandblast the rest of the ship :grin:)

I have indeed installed the hatches backwards. I thought that this would be more convenient on the water...... I am goiing to change that again since they are leaking a bit. The hinges must be higher, else water will remain there and leakage will follow.

REALLY MANY THANKS !!! I have broken my head on this, I have taken out the halon switch and threw it behind the dash to further work on this in the winter. I am convinced that the problem is here. :smt038

An advise that I can give every boat owner is to polish your stainless steel, this really gives a great result

I have renewed total interior, sandblasted underwaterline, total paint, all fabrics new and replaced all seats with sunbrella fabric. Redesigned panels in the boat, renewed dashboard. I will add some beter pictures next week. For me this is a new boat in the old style

I have a problem, My engines don't start and the generator stops after releasing the preheat button. The engine stop relais does not get power while there is power on the dashboard (pink wire) I have bypassed this wire but I wonder if there is somewhere a breaker that I missed. I still don't...
