North end of Dewees or South end of Capers is nice. Also the beach between Ft. Johnson and Ft. Sumter is easy to get to. Goes without saying, watch your falling tides.

Check out the Shem Creek Inn. Close by to the creek is Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn in Mt Pleasant. Restaurants: Vickerys, RB's, Reds Ice House are some of my favorites. Also Locklears Seafood. It's a great restaurant town.
