    Loose ceiling panels

Thanks Chris, I appreciate it. Not the same obviously, but gives me a good idea of what's in front of me. I'm guessing the screws have pulled out from pounding......hopefully I can find a few of the pullouts and go back in with oversized screws. Thanks again.

    Loose ceiling panels

Hello, can't seem to find any info here. Some of the cabin ceiling panels in my 2000 340 Sundancer have pulled away from whatever keeps them attached to the overhead. The ceiling speaker and light area, just as you get to the bottom of the cabin stairs, can be moved up and down 3/4" or so. Where...

    29 Amberjack engine access hatch

Used a milwaukee right angle grinder with a 4" cut-off blade, finished with a jigsaw at the corners. The floor is like maybe 1/2 balsa with about 1/8 of glass on either side, so close to 3/4 thick. Cut real easy with the cut-off blade.

    290 AJ Engine access hatch

Still doesn't give me enough room for what I want. Call me anal, but I want a lot of access !!! As for performance numbers.....I've only tried WOT one time, 6 adults on board, full fuel, calm seas....GPS was showing 47 knots. Don't want to think about what the fuel consumption was !!! As for...

    290 AJ Engine access hatch

It should grant me at least enough access to access the back of the engines for coupler lube, extinguisher access, cable routing, etc. If not, I'll jam one of my kids down there !!

    290 AJ Engine access hatch

I'm making an access hatch to install in the "trunk" of our Amberjack 290 to access the back of the engines. Twin 454's leave no room for getting back there. Has anyone out there done this? I've got room to install a 14X36 hatch no problem. I don't see any structural issues...it looks like...

    1989 280 Sundancer Cruising Speed

Thanks all. Looked at another 1989 280----beautiful shape, but the owner told me it cruised comfortably at 14 knots and about 30 WOT. Too much of a pig for me. I think I'll limit my looking to twin V-8's. Thanks for all the input.

    1989 280 Sundancer Cruising Speed

We're looking to buy a 1989 280 Sundancer with twin 4.3, 185 HP I/O's. Can anyone tell me what the cruising speed would be on this, meaning speed at 32-3400 RPM. The broker is saying 25-30 MPH, but I'm skeptical. Thanks.
